What's The Italian For Style?

It's 'Manchester City', because they've created a lovely little Italian-Youtube montage of all the City goals this season, up til Christmas Day. I realise this may offer somewhat limited appeal to most Dayorama readers (themselves a niche audience!) but I cannot resist. Up til a couple of years ago my team were a byword for laughing stock, so allow me to indulge myself now that we are momentarily half decent:

Let us not forget it was only ten years ago that our defenders were pulling tricks like this (it's an own goal, despite what appears to be the crisp, precise finish of a top class footballing marksman):

We City fans have Sven-Goran Eriksson to thank for the miracles worked so far this season - half the time we've actually played quite badly but there is a certain something special which justs give us that extra edge, and even a bit of luck we never used to have.

Speaking of Sven, he is of course the top of any search for his first name, but look who comes in just a few places down the list. It's... lookalikey Sven!

Derek Williams, aka Man Without Proper Job

Mr Svenalike, real name Derek Williams (no family relation, or at least I hope not), has apparently racked up countless hours of TV appearances. He promises 'sven-sational sven-tertainment', and urges potential clients to 'accept no (other) imitation'.

Go to his website, here, to view photos and laugh lots at a man whose entire career relies on the continued success of a balding Swedish bloke who's into his football.
